Warehouse Order Picker and Packer

Description

The Pick Packer is responsible for pulling, packing, and shipping pharmaceuticals, both refrigerated and non-refrigerated, and medical supplies. This role involves using various warehouse equipment, RF units, the AS400 computer system, and manifest machines while also performing essential warehouse functions such as stocking pack stations and maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Pull orders accurately according to RF unit and order ticket
  • Verify orders before sending them to the pack station
  • Manifest cartons using carrier manifest stations and verify carton labels
  • Stack and shrink wrap cartons to specific skids by carrier ship level
  • Pack orders based on order tickets, paying attention to special instructions
  • Maintain general housekeeping of the warehouse and pack stations
  • Restock pack stations with shipping supplies

  • Minimum six months to a year in a distribution center environment
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
  • Ability and willingness to work required overtime with little to no notice
