OpenGov’s IT Support Intern role is a paid, 12-week program beginning in July and ending in October. This program offers a great experience to individuals looking to start their careers in IT and Security. Working directly with the Manager, End User Services, you’ll learn what it’s like to work with a mature IT/Security team at a growing, fun, and fast paced technology company. Responsibilities:

• Serve as a point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance

• Perform troubleshooting of both hardware and software through probing and problem solving

• Provision and deprovision access to SaaS applications

• Assist in the onboarding and offboarding process of employees

• Perform basic admin functions within a wide range of IT systems

• Write clear, concise and accurate documentation on work procedures

• Assist with inventory management and procurement

• Participate on project teams to ensure successful implementation of new systems or upgrades to existing systems

Requirements and Preferred Experience:

• An undergraduate degree or current enrollment in an accredited educational institution

• 1+ years previous experience in a technical support role

• Hands on approach to problem solving

• A team player attitude, working across organizations and company to continue improving the way we serve our employees

• Working knowledge of Google Workspace, and Office 365

• Strong verbal and documentation skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
