  1. Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure for Netflix’s cloud-based services.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to ensure maximum system uptime and performance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to improve network efficiency and reliability.
  4. Monitor network traffic and usage to identify trends and make recommendations for capacity planning.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve network infrastructure.
  6. Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new network equipment, tools, and technologies.
  7. Ensure compliance with security and network standards and protocols.
  8. Create and maintain documentation for network systems, processes, and procedures.
  9. Provide on-call support and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
  10. Mentor and train junior engineers on network engineering and cloud computing best practices.
  11. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve network-related issues.
  12. Communicate network status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and management.
  13. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to team goals and initiatives.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient In Network Security Protocols And Best Practices, Including Firewalls And Encryption Methods.

  • Strong Understanding Of Virtualization Technologies And Their Application In Cloud Networks.
